You Would Never Think To Cook Eggs This Way in a EOTW Situation
So you have no power and all you have is a fire and your travel pot because your on the way to your bug out location or you had to make do outside. I know many preppers including me have a ziploc baggy in your bug out bag. Instead of frying them, you can crack the eggs in a baggy and stick them into boiling water and bag boil them.
Boy scouts use this method to cook eggs when out in the woods. I like this method because it allows you to do it and go. Yes boiling water takes a little while but, it makes no mess to clean up after cooking.
Find eggs can be easy, just look for a farm or chicken coops and hope that no one is there, or offer to barter with them. Farm fresh eggs can be carried for a while with out refrigeration. A egg that hasn't been refrigerated can sit out for 5 days and still be safe to eat.
Boiling eggs can also be used but can dry your mouth out when you eat the yolk.

Three Things That Must Be in Your Bug Out Bag
The first thing you will see everyday. It's dryer lint that you need and you can add to your collection every time you use the dryer. This works best to store in a zip lock bag. This works really good in a emergency or even to start a fire in the fire pit. All you need is just a little to get it going. It doesn't take up a lot of room so you can pack it anywhere. Add the lint beneath the tinder and light on fire.
